Transport / Teesside
Azul has replaced the terminal’s automatic doors, contributed to the 2021 refit and continues to maintain the entrances.
Teesside International Airport independently confirms the company’s involvement in this long-running project.

The company reports completing the installation overnight ahead of opening.

03 / Practical engineering
A fault does not always mean a new entrance.
Azul’s published repair process starts with understanding the problem. Telephone fault finding can help establish whether an engineer is needed; on site, the engineer assesses the fault and explains the cost before fitting replacement parts.
The concealed-operator retrofit shows how an alternative installation can retain useful parts of an existing entrance.
Talk through your door problem ↗04 / A clear next step
What to expect when booking a repair, based on Azul’s published service process.
Describe the door and the fault. The team can discuss initial checks by phone.
If a visit is needed, an engineer investigates the fault at your premises.
The engineer explains the work and costs and seeks approval before fitting parts.
After the repair, safety checks and a detailed worksheet record the visit and recommendations.
